Our mission at Naples Harvest is to provide local shelters and food banks with fresh local produce. We have an abundance of citrus and other fruit trees in our area that yield many times what the families who own them can eat. At the same time we have people in our community going hungry.
Working together we can help individuals and neighborhoods share their back yard harvests.
Naples Harvest coordinates local organizations and volunteers who pick fruit and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste. Volunteers then deliver locally picked produce to area food banks and shelters around our community. Senior citizens or others who can’t pick the fruit on their trees can receive assistance and share what’s left over.
Naples Harvest helps people and neighborhoods share with one another. Help us help our neighbors enjoy a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables.
